Background: Born in Tehachapi, CA. Mother deceased, father in retirement in Bakersfield. Medical and Psychological evaluations normal at time of induction.

Service Log: Joined service at age 18 in February of 2053 under the rank of private. Adams served as a drone operator in the Northern Regiment ground forces in Redding during the Tir Tairngire offensive of 2053. After Hestaby repelled enemy forces back north of Shasta, the regiment remained in place to monitor the the DMZ. Adams left the service at the conclusion of his two-year contract in 2055.
Adams attended university under the military's financial aid program, and took part in the Simsense Accelerated Learning Project, graduating in 2060 with a doctorate in medicine, and certificates in engineering and computer science. He rejoined the forces in 2064 as a field surgeon with the rank of Captain, as is standard with Medical Corp personnel. His first post after reenlisting was on the border of the California Protectorate, during California Free State's war of reunification. At the conclusion of the war in 2065, he remained posted there for one more year as Assistant Medical Officer of the 22nd Infantry Division during reconstruction efforts, assisting in the San Francisco refugee camps.
In 2066, Adams was reassigned to the southern border with most of his division to defend against Pueblo Corporate Council incursions.
In 2068, the division was instructed to lead a punitive raid on the Pueblo controlled town of Ridgecrest, after the local militia had run a raiding party against the Lake Isabella forward operating base. Adams protested the mission assignment, and in the course of an argument, shot a superior officer in the knee. A court-martial resulted in Adams being stripped of his rank and title, and dishonorably discharged from the army.

So, this kid from the sticks joins up with the big, glorious army of a confused and besieged nation state, sees a dragon, thinks it's neat, and then frags off to the UCAS to go to college. In the interim, an asshole, drekbag Jap takes over most of the nation, so the newly minted doctor decides to run back home and be part of the charge to take back the Bay and the Central Valley (drekload of good the latter part did us). I could make this dossier about thousands of soldiers, so no real surprises here. [*tapping sound*]
The interesting part is when he went south to the PCC line. Lots of the usual back-and-forth skirmishes creating lots of bodies and no territorial gains. After one standard-issue raid by the injuns on some base no one really cares about, this general, uh, lets see, [*rustling*] general… ah, Pinkerton [*snort?*], decides he's had enough and is going to teach those damn redskins a lesson. Cue the usual self-righteous nativist bulldrek, and this guy has half the division ready for some good ol' town burning.
Seems our subject here took issue with this. According to the court-martial transcripts, he barges into the general's office unannounced, and starts laying into the guy. You know, rules of engagement, appeals to humanity, consequences, treaty obligations; the usual bleeding heart fanfare when you're arguing against a mild dash of ethnic cleansing. The general comes back with the expected appeals to patriotism and duty as a military officer. Looks like the heat got cranked up over the next few minutes and by the end of it, they were in each other's faces. The good doctor eventually tries to relieve the general of duty on medical grounds, but he doesn't gain any traction there. And here's where it gets interesting: the doctor takes the general's own service pistol, and shoots the guy in goddamn kneecap like some kind of gangland hit! I mean seriously, who even does that? If he'd just given the pompous bastard a shiner, he'd have spent a week in the brig, and all would be forgiven. But no, he fraggin' shoots. A superior. Officer. In the knee. Honestly, getting the boot--even a dishonorable--was pretty lenient. But still, that sort of thing follows you around.
It looks like he wasted little time in bugging out of FreeCal to head up north to Seattle. He quickly landed a job with CrashCart (man, talk about constantly choosing the losing team), who were willing to overlook his record because A: they don't give a flying frag about FreeCal politics in Seattle, and B: he's a licensed doctor with military augs and combat experience. Not a difficult choice, that. Well, it seems that worked out for a bit, until DocWagon pretty much pushed CrashCart out of the area, leaving this guy once again out of a job.
I'm seeing tax payment receipts for a clinic being run under his name, but they run out after two years. There's a news story and some matrix chatter around the same time about a rolling gangland battle involving heavy weaponry, so it's safe to assume that his clinic was collateral damage.
After that, things start to get a little murky. It looks like he disappeared from the normal channels. We have a few clips of someone bearing his resemblance in China Town, and some comm chatter about Shiawase that matches his voice print. But more recently we've being seeing more troubl
