Val hefts his suddenly heavy rifle over the wall of a fountain with a painful grunt. He looks for the enforcer who managed to clip him, and feels both relief and a little disappointment at the pool of blood spreading from his corpse. He sights in on Enforcer 5 instead, and sends a burst in his direction.

Val's muscles twitch as his wired reflexes set him to action. He swings the rifle toward the final enforcer standing, taking a sick delight at being able to see the whites of his eyes surrounding the entire circumference of his irises. He idly wonders if he himself has ever looked so frightened, and decides it's highly probable. He fires again.

(( Wide burst. ))

Adams searches for, and reacquires the enforcer who had previously ducked down out of the fray.

"Not getting away so easily," he mutters to himself as he fires the first burst.

The fog of war clears as chill winds ferry away the cordite smoke and masonry dust clouds. The security team lies slain, and the Firestarter team, victorious.

Tyros sways for a second on his feet, wiping away the trace of blood running from his nose while simultaneously channeling a small stream of magic to fix the broken capillaries in it and stem the flow.

Hustling the team back to the car outside the manor grounds, the big troll looks tiredly at the mansion.

Nodding to Doc, "Burn it."

Adams cocks his head to the side, and contemplates the manor house for a moment. The grand achievement of almost ancient architectural design; The lowly peasants breaking their backs in the construction of the monument; the centuries of families with notable names carving their legacies into the small world around them.

The fraggin' blood magic in the basement.

The corner of his mouth twitches as he thumbs the mechanical switch on the detonator.

The nightscape becomes day for a fraction of a moment, as the blast blows out of windows, chimneys and doorways. A column of flame engulfs the house and sends a bus sized cloud of oily black smoke hurtling into the sky. The manor buckles and implodes as the heat of the explosion deteriorate the architecture. A sea of embers, smoke and fire billow out from every angle as Rehnquist's former home is reduced to simmering rubble.

Dragesh winces and presses his torn sleeve into the gash on his forearm. He hangs his head for a brief moment, before turning to Tyros.

"Darius is avenged. I thank you for that, Tyros. I have no delusions that we'll see each other again, but for what it's worth..."

He extends a hand.

"I'm glad that we could reconcile our differences for the sake of our old master."

Tyros reaches out and shakes Dragesh's hand.

"We may never be friends, but what we have done here, this justice, is worthy of my placing trust in you. You must take care of the Brotherhood now. I will be returning to Seattle and have no involvement in its affairs, but I hope we maintain contact. If there is anything you have need of that I can help with in the future, you have but to ask. Fare well."

Turning back to his team, "Thank you for all your help gentlemen. My master's justice could not have been achieved without you. I am forever in your debt. But now, let's go home."
