Doc scrambles past, flashing the cultists a grin and a thumbs up as he disappears into the ductwork.

Max charges forward, half stumbling, half crawling through the duct with Doc on his heels. This all occurs to the accompaniment of a chorus of shouts from below. As the elf and the human begin their descent on the opposite side of the ducting, they can see a number of the cyber-zombies squeezing through the opening, having spied a larger number of warm bodies on which to exact their psychotic revenge.

Sensing that one of the monks has been rendered dumb by Tyros' juju, the dwarf cries out and leaps at the nearest enemy.
The dwarf, choosing practicality over style, aims a hefty kick at the closest monk's groin.
His kick is a bit preemptive and the monk uses a knee to deflect it.

It was inevitable.
Klaxons begin to sound and security lights pulse as somewhere within the facility, someone (probably a monk with an attached cyber-zombie) triggers an alarm.
Doc and Max race-crawl through the vent towards their original holding room, their frames briefly silhouetted by the strobes.

Between panting breaths, Doc says,
"You know, for once, I have no qualms about burning a location to the ground. Let's get our stuff and wreak some havoc."

Max concurs,
"My empire for my fraggin' shotgun right now!"
The mad dash continues.

"Taste my flying crane!" froths the monk at Rawhide, before spinning into a roundhouse kick.
Rawhide grunts as the kick connects.
"Tastes horrible!"

A thought occurs to Doc.
He reaches out with his control rig, to see if he can get a response from the Fly-Spy or two Dragonflies that he keeps with his gear.

((Not sure which Monk is under Tyros' control, but he follows his previous order to attack one ofte monks))
A small, glowing ball of light appears out of thin air and zaps into the monk engaging Rawhide (centering, manabolt, f3)

Monk #3 turns and aims a hay-maker at Monk #2's face.
He stumbles forward as the punch misses.

Monk #2 looks incredulously at Monk #3.
"Brother! What are you doing?"
He leaps at Rawhide with a jumping kick.
Rawhide feints as the kick sails over his head.

The tongues of purple flame sputter out before they reach their intended target.
Tyros feels a mild throbbing in his head.

Doc and Max arrive on scene, just as the fight is really getting underway.
"Glad you could make it," barks Rawhide.

Max scoffs as he enters the battle unfolding in the hallway,
"Figured you ladies would be further along by now! You stop for afternoon tea?"

Rawhide subliminally triggers his adrenaline pump. His eyes go wide and he roars as it surges through his veins.
(( Free action. ))
He aims a savage uppercut at Monk #3.
The pure force of the dwarf's adrenaline-fueled uppercut shatters the monk's jaw and fractures his skull in several places in addition to lifting the monk a good two feet in the air.
"BOOYAH!" screams the frothing dwarf.

Having taken significant trauma to the face, monk #3 curls up in a defensive ball. (( Full defense. ))

Monk #2 spits and charges Rawhide with a bum rush.
Rawhide back-steps and deflects the blow with a swipe of his meaty forearm.

Monk #1 aims a chop at Doc's exposed neck.

Tyros commands the monk under his control to attack monk #1.
Monk #1 throws up a block at the last second.
"Snap out of it!"

Doc catches the monk in the arm with the hypoderm and thumbs the plunger down.
The monk's eyes widen.
"What did you..."
He collapses, seizing and foaming at the mouth.

Seeing the first monk taken care of, Max turns his attention to the monk whom Tyros is controlling and goes in for the chokehold.

"Gladly!"
Rawhide, still wild-eyed from his adrenaline burst, leaps on to the subdued monk's cranium.
The heavy dwarf comes crashing down, feet first, and smashes the monk's head like a rotting pumpkin. A spurt of blood and gray matter spackles Max's surgical gown.

Rawhide lifts his foot up and glowers at the brain stuck to the bottom.
One of the monks is still curled in the fetal position, bleeding profusely while the other is twitching, eyes rolled back in his sockets.

As the monk's head explodes, Max lets out an aghast "GAHH!" before releasing what's left of his grip on the corpse. Rising plaintively to his feet, Max is still squeezing his eyes into a razor thin squint as the blood drips down his face. Putting his right index finger on his right nostril, Max blows a sickening mixture of snot, blood, bone fragment, and assorted tears of tissue from his nose. The elf repeats the gesture on the other side. Looking blankly at the rest of the team, the nearly naked metahuman sighs and asks,
"Why me?"
Brushing his hand through his hair vigorously, a shower of gore sprinkles down to the ground around him and speckles the rest of the team lightly. As Max wipes the blood away from his eyes with his surgical gown (forgetting that in so doing he will be exposing his shame to the whole team!), Max suggests,
"Shall we get moving?"
The blood bathed elf begins heading dazedly in the direction of their stolen gear.

Max barks back, legitimately annoyed by the situation,
"Don't you have a malpractice hearing to get to or patients to paralyze or something?!"
